Introduction to our wines

Wine FAQ

How do you sell your wines?
At Cayuse Vineyards, we sell our wines to the mailing list as futures a year before release. A portion of wines are reserved for great restaurants and wine shops.

How should I store the wines?
Beyond reach of kids and winos-and ideally at 55 degrees, resting on their sides and in a dark place.

How soon can I open my wines?
A Latin saying insists, "There are four reasons for drinking wine: the arrival of a friend; one's present or future thirst; the excellence of the wine; or any other reason." While the perfect time to open a bottle of Cayuse is precisely when you decide to pull the cork, we find our wines benefit from at least two to three years of bottle aging.

What is the aging potential of Cayuse wines?
Though ignoring the siren's call may be difficult at times, we strongly suggest keeping your corkscrew at bay until you can no longer resist the temptation! However, we expect the red wines will mature for at least the next eight to fifteen years, depending on storage conditions.
